Do I need an overflight permit for Australia?
For international flights over or into Australian territory where the carrier is registered in a State which is not a party to the Chicago Convention, the operator must obtain prior permission from the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts, and CASA through diplomatic channels.
